The ephemera collection consists of varied material on different subjects, usually items that were intended to be discarded once they had served their purpose. For example: advertising/publicity material, event programmes, newsletters, tickets/receipts, business correspondence, commemorative milk bottle tops, etc.
Ephemera can provide valuable insight into subjects not covered by archives or other reference materials, telling us about places or events, how they were perceived or commemorated at a particular time. Updated annualy
